Smoothie bowls are like ice cream sundaes for plant based eaters. The secret I think, is using frozen bananas and acai packs, very handy to have stashed in the freezer at all times. Instead of chocolate syrup, whipped cream and cherries drenched in syrup, top your scrumptious, smoothie delight with pumpkin seeds, hemp seeds, dried goji berries, toasted coconut and some raw almonds, or whatever else you can think of. Β Of course it’s super easy to whip up, all you need is a blender, so there’s very little cleaning up involved – yay! a gorgeous power packed breakfast in literally 3 minutes – double yay! You can’t go wrong with a smoothie bowl:)

Smoothie Bowl Ingredients:

1 frozen banana

1 frozen acai pack

Small handful of frozen berries

1 small avocado

1 scoop protein powder

1/3-1/2 cup almond milk

Method:

Place everything in the blender, start off with 1/3 cup almond milk to make sure the smoothie is thick and “creamy” if it doesn’t blend well, add a little more milk or filtered water until you reach the perfect consistency.

Pour into a bowl and go wild with your toppings.
